Springboard Programme Empowers Women Across Brooke Weston Trust

Nine wonderful women, who work for the Brooke Weston Trust, celebrated completing the Springboard Women’s Development programme today. Lucy Steele facilitated this course which is designed to empower women to formulate a clear sense of direction in both their personal and professional lives.

There was great positive energy within the group with openness and honesty at the forefront of the group discussions. Delegates said that it felt like a “safe space to open up”.

In the final session, the delegates collaborated in small groups to discuss their personal achievements since the start of the programme and then shared this with the whole group. These ambitious women spoke about goals they have set themselves and changes which have taken place in their personal and professional lives.

As part of the programme Lucy invited some inspirational women to speak about their personal and professional journeys and how they have overcome obstacles in their lives. Thanks to Fran, Suki and Theresa for their valuable contributions which provided real life examples of strength and determination.

All delegates reported increased self confidence since the start of the programme and they spoke about their appreciation of the opportunity to collaborate in a supportive group of like-minded women.
