Peckover Primary School has launched its core values to show how PROUD they are of the school and students celebrated by dressing up to show the profession they aspire to join.

Students and staff collaborated on identifying what makes Peckover such a special place to learn and work and they realised how they need persevere, show respect, make the most of every opportunity, be united and always do their best in order to be successful.  The acronym PROUD is now being used across the school as a logo to celebrate the great work that is going on there.

As part of the launch parents came along for a fun morning to join the children in exciting activities including long jump and speed bounce athletics competitions, games and quizzes and they even got the chance to play the ukele and cornet.

Teacher Andy Buffham said: ‘These core values really represent how life at Peckover helps children develop and succeed in creative and collaborative ways.’
