Corby Technical School is an Ofsted rated Outstanding school which was opened by the Brooke Weston Trust in 2012. The school offers an academic curriculum that has a strong technical bias to suit those young people who have already shown a strong aptitude for and interest in technical subjects like engineering, electronics and computer programming.
The school works in close partnership with local companies to offer significant elements of work experience relevant to students’ choice of career. We ensure that our students are fully prepared to move into further study at university or on high-level apprenticeships in technical industries, including engineering, science, architecture and computing.
Students and staff alike have the common purpose of success and achievement. The aim is to develop confident learners, who take ownership of their learning and are proud of their achievements. The highest quality teaching, coupled with links to major employers and a technical-based curriculum, ensures high levels of achievement and opportunities to help all students succeed.

Here in CTS Library we have been following the YOTO Carnegie Awards closely. Yesterday, we finished our journals and then had a small party to say well done to all our participants. Well done to the winners of the awards and to our amazing students! https://t.co/rih9V4nI2X
We're really bringing the outdoors inside in the Library! We now have some delightful mushrooms decorating the tops of our fiction shelves. The amazing creations were made by the Art Club (lead by the wonderfully talented Miss Jakubiak) who offered the figures to the Library! https://t.co/2bbSsDVsi3
