Beanfield Primary School

Beanfield Primary, which has been judged as Good by Ofsted, is a large community school for children between 3 and 11 years of age. We currently have over 750 children on roll, which includes nursery provision for 78 children and purpose-built provision for 55 children with special educational needs. We are a busy, friendly school with lots going on throughout the year, and we are very much at the heart of our local Corby community.

As part of the Brooke Weston Trust, we are focused on providing children with the best education possible, and we are striving to achieve this in all areas of school life. Throughout the year, we have over 20 after-school clubs running, plus a wide range of trips, visits and visitors, all enriching our children’s learning experience.

    Beanfield Primary School has an opportunity to appoint an experienced teacher, who is enthusiastic, inspirational and committed to join our oversubscribed Specialist Provision, based in the heart of the school. We support 55 amazing children with many varying complex needs including; ASD and Severe/Specific Learning Difficulties. The successful candidate will work on our ASD pathway with children using the TEACCH Approach and who are working on a semi-Formal curriculum.

    This position is suited to an individual who, has experience of working with ASD children using the TEACCH approach and  will work within our dedicated and passionate team, led by the Primary Schools Director of SEN, supporting planning, delivery and assessment of a complex curriculum.

    We are looking for someone to join us on a 1 year fixed term basis supporting children within our Unit Provision.

    The successful candidate will support our amazing children on their academic journey. You will work within a team of driven, passionate professionals, who each day provide high quality, personalised care and attention to all children within the Specialist Provision.
