We have an exciting opportunity for a vibrant, qualified and committed teacher of Science to join a dynamic, well-resourced, supportive and high performing Science department.
The Science department at KSA consists of specialists in all 3 of the sciences and supported by two full time technicians. Biology, Chemistry and Physics are supported by a head of subject and all led by a Head of Science. Science is taught in all key stages with a strong intake into the triple course at KS4 as well as into all three of the main sciences at KS5. We are ambitious for our learners and have achieved excellent outcomes to include entry into aspiration destinations which include: Oxford, Cambridge, and the Russell Group. We also have a number of students who are successful in their entry and completion of highly contested courses such as Medicine and Veterinary science, to name a few.
Teachers will be responsible for the academic outcomes of the pupils they teach. Kettering Science Academy requires a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (Inclusion Learning Lead) to assist with the provision of support for individual students with social emotional behaviour difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning inside and outside of school, in order to achieve their potential. The Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (Inclusion Learning Lead) will work with children on a one-to-one basis or in small or large groups.
They will be a well-motivated and compassionate individual capable of working both as part of a bigger team and independently. The successful candidate will join a supportive and friendly team and be experienced in supporting the delivery of the curriculum.
You will be responsible for promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students and show awareness of complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection.
We will consider applications from candidates who are currently Level 3 Teaching Assistants and willing to work towards their HLTA qualification.

Kettering Science Academy requires a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will have expertise working with students with a range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will be required to support students within their classes, facilitating the learning for targeted SEND students as well as supporting other students within the school. You will be a well-motivated and compassionate individual capable of working both as part of a bigger team and independently. We have an exciting opportunity for a vibrant, qualified and committed teacher of Science to join a dynamic, well-resourced, supportive and high performing Science department.
The Science department at KSA consists of specialists in all 3 of the sciences and supported by two full time technicians. Biology, Chemistry and Physics are supported by a head of subject and all led by a Head of Science. Science is taught in all key stages with a strong intake into the triple course at KS4 as well as into all three of the main sciences at KS5. We are ambitious for our learners and have achieved excellent outcomes to include entry into aspiration destinations which include: Oxford, Cambridge, and the Russell Group. We also have a number of students who are successful in their entry and completion of highly contested courses such as Medicine and Veterinary science, to name a few.
Teachers will be responsible for the academic outcomes of the pupils they teach. You will help to shape and develop how History is taught across the school, playing an integral role in the growth of History within Humanities. The successful candidate will be a model of professionalism, a dynamic team player and an outstanding practitioner in their own right.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of SEND to join a progressive and expanding SEND department. The role would be most suitable for an experienced member of staff.
The SEND department has undergone considerable change within the past 12 months reflecting the team’s commitment to ensuring that it’s students access a broad and balanced curriculum, that aspirations for SEN are highly ambitious and there is a focus on future pathways and outcomes for our pupils. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they can be an effective team member and contribute to the continued growth and success of the department, inspiring and engaging pupils in their learning.
High quality teaching and high expectations are at the heart of Kettering Science Academy and all teachers will be expected to develop exemplary practice which supports the ethos, values and vision, and contributes to the overall life and work of the Academy. Teachers will also be expected to promote and develop social, moral and physical aptitudes in their pupils and to provide advice and guidance where necessary.
