Pictures of the official opening of Peckover Primary's amazing gardens which they have been working on as part of 'Wisbech in Bloom.' Students, staff, parents and lots of volunteers have helped to transform an uninspiring area of land into specially themed outdoor classrooms with planned planting schemes and lots of artefacts. The garden was officially opened by Summer, whose aunt was teacher Penny Slater, a valued and much missed teacher at the school, who has a special pink-themed garden dedicated to her memory.
A special thanks go to Lou Tombleson who did the planning, planting schemes and who sourced the plants, many of which were generously donated by local nurseries. A huge thanks go to anyone who had a hand in making these gardens so special!
