She underwent eight months of tests, interviews and exercises before securing the role as co-pilot/observer for Navy helicopters.

Her duties will include operations management, navigation, communications and management of various weapon systems such as homing torpedoes and anti-ship missile systems. She will be the ‘missions manager’ for each operation and should eventually fly on the newly-introduced Wildcat – one of the most sophisticated military helicopters in the world.
