Gretton Governors hear about school's subject priorities
Governors at Gretton Primary School recently met staff to talk about progress and future plans in individual subject areas.
Each Governor is linked to a specific subject area and so the meeting enables teachers to share their subject action plans and answer questions about them. The action plans form part of the whole school improvement plan, and so this collaboration enables our Governors to have a clear picture of the priorities in different subject areas and an understanding of how these will be achieved.
Principal Jane MacDonald said: 'This was a very valuable opoportunity to ensure that our Governors are kept fully informed about our key priorities and plans. Follow up visits will take place over the school year so that Governors can keep up to date with progress.'
