Smiles at CTS on A Level results day
Students at Corby Technical School are moving on to a variety of career and study pathways after a successful year which has seen rising grades across a range of subjects.
The school has equipped students to secure technical degree courses including architecture, physics, biomedical science and engineering, as well as more traditional options such as accountancy, English and psychology.
Kacper is going to study law at the University of Exeter after gaining AAB results. He said: ‘It is something I have always been interested in and I’d like to be a barrister.’
Champion archer Iulia Petr (above), who represents GB is going to the University of Loughborough to study psychology. She has been accepted on the Elite Athlete pathway so she will continue her sport alongside her studies and she has aspirations to compete in the Olympics.
Tyrell is going to study engineering at the University of Coventry with the opportunity to take up work placements in the second year and expand his experience.
Principal Angela Reynolds said; ‘This year group was only the second cohort through the school and the first who actually inhabited the building so they hold a special place in our history. They are a very talented and tightly knit group so the fact that have all secured the courses and careers they wanted is excellent. It was lovely to welcome them back for results day and to see them happy and excited for their future. Everyone at Corby Technical School wishes them all the best for the future.’
