Celebrating A-level Success across our trust
Congratulations to all our students celebrating their A-level results! We are so proud of their hard work, dedication and perseverance.
Staff across the Trust, who have continued to provide a high-quality learning experience for all attending a Brooke Weston Trust school, shared in the excitement - expressing their pride in the fantastic results achieved this year.

Here are some of the highlights from our schools:
THOMAS CLARKSON ACADEMY
The results for Thomas Clarkson Academy's (TCA) A-level students are impressive, with 46% achieving A-B grades and 71% securing A-C grades. Additionally, 35% of the students who are heading to university have successfully secured places at prestigious Russell Group institutions.
Notable achievements from students who are celebrating today are:
- Alfie Kilcullen: Highest achiever and highest progress student, heading to Norwich University of the Arts for Film and Moving Image Production.
- Goda Rinkeviciute: Attending Manchester University to study Pharmacy.
- Aukse Janusauskaite: Enrolling at the University of Nottingham for Law.
- Paulina Trapaviciute: Going to the University of Bath for Management with Marketing with a work placement.
Students achieving an average grade of B+ include:
- Sofia Reeves: University College London, Politics and International Relations
- Monika Sabaliauskaite: University of Reading, Business and Management with Placement Year
- Viktorija Trifanova: University of Manchester, Psychology
- Artjoms Vasiljevs: Loughborough University, Psychology (with placement year)
- Gvido Malinovskis: University of York, Theoretical Physics

BROOKE WESTON ACADEMY
Brooke Weston Academy (BWA) is celebrating another successful year of Post-16 examination results.
Top-performing students include Marcus Ciobanu, Ellis Johnson, Anais Johnson and Gabriela Marzec who collectively achieved 10 A* grades. Marcus and Ellis are both off to the University of Warwick to study Mathematics.
Marcus provided some words of wisdom to existing students about studying for their Post-16 qualifications. He said: “Make sure to complete past papers, listen to your teachers and work hard. The jump from GCSE to A-level is immense and should not be underestimated.”
Teodora Marinescu has also received exceptional results and has secured a place to study Mathematics at the prestigious University of Oxford.
Other top performers include Ruby Markham, Mia Brown and Nathan Wiffen who achieved a grade profile of A*/A grades. Ruby is going on to study Medicine at the University Nottingham as she would like to become a Paediatrician in the future. Mia is going to the University of York to study Molecular Biology and is considering a career in the NHS following this. Nathan is going to the University of Birmingham to study Economics.
Many students achieved a grade profile consisting of A*, A and B grades, which is a tremendous achievement, and many others achieved exceptional individual results.
CORBY BUSINESS ACADEMY
Students and staff at Corby Business Academy (CBA) are celebrating another excellent set of A-level results.
Top performers at Corby Business Academy include:
- Reece Forsdike, with grades of A* in Maths, A in Computer Science, and B in Further Maths, is set to study Maths at Loughborough University in the Autumn.
- Pheobe Tucker achieved an excellent set of results with As across her 3 subjects of Business, English and Geography. Pheobe is off to study English Literature at the University of Birmingham.
- Anika Copeland matched Pheobe’s performance with As in Art, History and Maths. Next year Anika will be embarking on an integrated Masters in Architectural Design and Engineering and the University of Leeds.
- Lucy Stone, achieving A* in Psychology, A in Business, and B in English, who has aspirations of continuing her studies in Psychology at University.
A particular highlight for the school has been the amount of overall progress made by students during their Sixth Form journey. These include:
- Samuel Haigh who achieved As in both Computer Science and History as well as a B in Maths. Samuel is off to study Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Birmingham.
- Hannah Wishart, is hoping to start the Paramedic Science course at Beford in September, earned a Distinction in Health and Social Care, a Merit in Sport in a D in A-level Drama and Theatre Studies.
- Jay Revie also made exceptional progress with an A in Psychology, a B in Business Studies and a Distinction in Sport. Next year Jay plans to enjoy a gap year before applying for a university place in 2025.
CORBY TECHNICAL SCHOOL
Students from Corby Technical School (CTS) have been celebrating their achievements this morning and are set to follow a variety of ambitious pathways including university degrees and apprenticeships.
Students have accepted university places at institutions from across the country, including the first student from CTS to go to an Oxbridge University. James H has been with the school since year 7 and has worked incredibly hard throughout his time with us. He will be off to St. Anne’s college Oxford soon to study Physics having received four A stars at A-level in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths.
KETTERING SCIENCE ACADEMY
Kettering Science Academy (KSA) is celebrating another great set of A-level results.
Many students at the academy will be continuing their studies across the country in a range of subjects. KSA is also delighted that Luke Heaviside has secured an apprenticeship degree with Jaguar Land Rover, and are also eager to see the results of another student’s gap year dedicated to pursuing her dream of becoming an author.
The school’s highest-performing students include:
- Arany Nanthakumaran (A*A*A* A) Imperial College London for Mechanical Engineering
- Eden Minney (A*AAB) University of Liverpool for Classics
- Sofia Shevlyakova (A*A*AB) University of City London for Banking and International Finance
- Kris Handley (A*AA) University of Sheffield for Mechanical Engineering
- Michael Simcoe (A*A*BB) University of Leicester for Computer Science
