The Brooke Weston Trust Centre for Professional Development brochure is now live.
We are delighted to deliver this year’s suite of training courses and workshops, to provide rich professional development for all employees, reinforcing our commitment to their growth.
We aim to empower every Brooke Weston Trust colleague by addressing the development needs of all roles.
Our training is delivered by experienced leaders and nationally recognised educationalists and providers, including subject association leads, Ofsted inspectors, and Department for Education consultants.
The majority of our courses are delivered face-to-face across our modern training spaces, offering a professional and comfortable learning environment. We also have a small number of courses which are delivered virtually.
Our courses cover a wide variety of topics to support professional development, including:
- Governor Safeguarding
- Supporting Children with Cognition & Learning Difficulties
- Crisis, Critical Incident & Change Communications
- Development of Teaching Practice Award
- Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics
- First Aid at Work
- New to Safeguarding
- Understanding Allergens
- Attachment Aware Trauma Informed Practice
- Effective Use of Excel - Advanced Level
While many courses are exclusively for Brooke Weston Trust staff, we also welcome local schools outside the Trust to join select training sessions to support their improvement goals. To facilitate this, we have kept costs low for external participants - a half-day course is £80, and a full day with lunch is £120. All sessions remain free for Brooke Weston Trust employees.
