The Compass Academy (formerly Kettering Science Academy Primary) opened its doors under its new name in September 2016. It has been part of the Brooke Weston Trust since 2013 and is led by Principal Jo Fallowell.
We recognise that we can help our children make the most of their talents throughout their life through our core values of Aspiration, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience & Co-operation.
Little Explorers is our pre-school which provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for our youngest children.
Our children are our top priority; we keep them at the heart of our work. To support our children to achieve their best possible outcome, we equip them with the skills and aspirations they need to start exploring the world and their place within it.
We value each child as an individual and, throughout their time with us, we aim to nurture the whole child. We believe that education is most successful when there is a strong partnership between school and home. With your help and support, we aim to work together to provide a caring and stimulating environment in which your child will thrive and develop as an individual.

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed exploring Twycross Zoo yesterday. They learnt so much about the animals, their habitats and where they originated from. They spent some time connecting their learning to their Geography work, too. https://t.co/Am8FeHcmer

Here at Compass, we welcome Rocksteady every Friday to work with children - who have signed up - to form a band. They learn to play an instrument of their choosing or use their vocal instrument. Here is a selection of photos from their last concert. You rock! https://t.co/sMESMAc0WT

In Geography, 3EW have been exploring images and maps of the land around the school. One map was from the present day, one from 1950 and the other was from 1890. The children were looking at how the land has been used differently, and how some things have stayed the same. https://t.co/9OBZELtMi4
