Complete EAP, health & wellbeing support
What is an Employee Assistance Programme?
Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) are intended to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health and wellbeing.
When the time is right, you may feel the need to reach out for emotional or practical support. Health Assured know how difficult it can be to take those first steps. Their qualified counsellors are ready to listen and provide confidential support and guidance 24/7, 365 days of the year, so help is always available at a time which suits you.
As well as immediate access to a counsellor or legal advisor, Health Assured can also provide staff with up to 6 sessions of structured counselling, at no cost to the employee.
The service is also available to co-habiting partners, and dependants who are in full-time education or who live at home, between the ages of 16 and 24.
How can Health Assured help me?
My Healthy Advantage - App
The app provides you with interactive resources to help support a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle. It includes a weekly mood tracker and interactive 4-week programmes on healthy eating and better sleep, amongst others. They can help you track your habits and record your reflections on how you have found the programme so far.
The My Healthy Advantage app also allows you to chat directly to a counsellor using the online chat function. This option will only appear when a counsellor is available to speak, to ensure you get the direct support needed. This may be helpful for those people who feel anxious about phoning the Health Assured number.
To access the app, Brooke Weston Trust staff can use the following employer code: MHA150721
